The 4 seasons of the garden

What we love about the Jardin du Conservatoire Botanique is that the visit is never the same, depending on the
season. From spring blooms to the bright colors and fragrances of summer, then to the warm hues of autumn worthy of Canadian landscapes...

Each time of year offers a new
opportunity to visit and a new way to discover the site.

Did you know?

The garden is open to visitors free of charge all year round, with opening times changing according to the season. Picnic tables are available throughout the site.

Journey to the heart of tropical greenhouses

Covering an area of 1,000 m2, the 4 tropical greenhouses are home to several hundred plants, 95% of which are threatened
with extinction, or have disappeared completely from their natural environment.
Each greenhouse reproduces an exotic environment:

  • humid tropical mountains
  • subtropical oceanic islands
  •  dry tropical zones
  •  tropical rainforests

Here you can discover, for example, hibiscus from Fiji or Hawaii, or nesocodon from Mauritius.
